Wine tasting & Lunch

Monday April 29th –   €45.

What an excellent event attended by many DDOA members. We boarded a coach at 10:00am and sped off to the Qinta do Vales Vinyard at Estombar where we received a warm welcome.

A full tour of the cellars and winery was followed by a tasting of several of the vineyards whites, roses and reds. A very informative and liquid learning experience!

After the wine tasting (and some good value purchases!) we transferred  to the Restaurant Portarade at Ferragudo where we enjoyed an excellent value three course lunch and wine sat outside in the spring sunshine.

This was an amazingly good value and enjoyable trip and we should thank the social committee for all their hard work in organising. We were delighted to see many new faces and encourage others to join in future events.
