I own DD913, spending 5-6 months of the year in Dunas Douradas. I came to Dunas in 1995, buying an apartment in zone 3 and in 2003 we completed our house zone 9. I have been on the DDOA board for a brief period late 90´s acting as a liaison officer between the Board and the developer. I hold a degree in economics from the university of Nuremberg (Germany), and have spent most of my career as investor and business angel for tech upstart companies.
My motivation for making myself available for the board of DDOA is that I have a profound interest in Dunas. Having followed the development over years I have observed that Dunas have never been in better shape than now, and I wish this positive development to continue.
It is my conviction that the present organisation with private ownership of the central area with contractual use of the premises for the owners should continue.
If I can contribute to the continuous positive development of the resort, keeping up the standard of the communal facilities and infrastructure so that we least are “on par” with Vale do Lobo.
